Drove key projects on the Legal Investigation Support Engineering Team at Google who build products to respond to legal requests for user data from law enforcement.

Fully automated the user data export date range policy, completely eliminating a complicated and error prone workflow by collaborating at length with key legal policy stakeholders and driving alignment across legal counsel, policy specialists, UX designers, and engineers.. This increased both the efficiency of the operation and processing accuracy.

Designed and programmed an app enabling users to reflect and search for workouts based on emotion.

Over ten weeks, I participated in an iterative design process as part of Introduction to Human Computer Interaction. This involved needfinding, testing, and the creation a low fi, med fi, and high fi prototype. Created reactive Figma mocks, conducted user testing, and programmed the app using JavaScript.

Developed a mobile calendar assignment with C++, that stores and modifies events to evaluate students’ skills by engineering two solutions and writing 20 test cases to ensure each solution was functional.

A marine biology underwater recording project creating a music sample pack with marine life sounds.

Collaborated on a marine biology underwater recording project creating a music sample pack with over 300 marine life sounds. I spearheaded an archive of the project by building a website using HTML and CSS and created a project roadmap for the research project, delegate tasks, and assess capacity.

Volunteered at AddisCoder, an Ethiopian summer program designed to introduce high schoolers to computer science.

Taught first-time students advanced programming and algorithms, providing students with individual support. Also served as a teaching assistant, helped create exercises, and provided mini-lectures to ~40 students in lab.

A district-wide student survey on school climate and culture.

Organized and administered a district-wide student survey on school climate and culture. I analyzed and presented data to school officials and worked to find creative solutions to common student concerns. Lastly, I presented before the school board and got the survey approved as the new mode of student assessment.
